The German artist BOGSER visualizes Jazz Music. His aim is to make Jazz
music heard only by watching his artwork. He works in different medias.

There are his digital works and his oil paintings:

Digital Prints

In his digital works BOGSER starts by going to Jazz concerts and "catching"
the band and the music with his Nikon. He is not particulary interested in the  individual band or the musicians as persons. The artist focuses on the sound
and the instruments. Getting close and on stage.

With the photographed material he composes his JazzArt by overlaying and
combining different shots. While BOGSERs digital compositions deal with
life performance and concert sounds his original paintings do concentrate on music titles.

Original Paintings

BOGSER, who originally is a portrait painter, was always drawn to Jazz Music.
He always painted and worked with music. And as a portrait painter he always
catched more than a sheer resemblance of his models. So he started to portrait
musicians by their music and ended up by painting portraits of Jazz tunes.
